Deep South Focus Photography is based in Mobile, Alabama. In addition to real estate photography and videography, we also offer fine art photography, event photography, and printing services at various events such as car shows and automotive events all across the Deep South.
Jon Jeffress
While Jon has taken photographs for most of his life, he began creating images in 2008. The panoramic image at the top of this page is the image that started it all for him. He created this image while on vacation on Figure 8 Island near Wilmington, North Carolina. He entered the image in a local photography club's photo contest and it won an award. Jon enjoys architectural, landscape, and automotive photography. In 2020, Jon became a certified FAA Part 107 sUAS Remote Pilot which allows him to legally capture aerial photographs with a small drone.

Julie Jeffress
Not to be outdone, Julie is also an award-winning photographer. She enjoys macro photography and shooting through a range of lenses, such as Lensbaby optics, to add a more artistic flair to her work.
Over the years, Jon and Julie have expanded their skills by taking various photography classes at the University of South Alabama as well as attending numerous photography workshops around the Deep South and even in Canada. They enjoy travel and you will find images on this website that they have captured not only in the United States but also in Canada and New Zealand.
Lisa Johnson
Lisa has had a camera in her hand as far back as she can remember. Her keen eye for that special moment started with her desire to capture cherished memories for her family and friends.
Lisa's warm personality lends to a bond with her subjects, producing photography that speaks to the heart. She became skilled in her passion for macro and nature photography through her training at the University of South Alabama and various workshops and conferences across the country. She has also trained under specialized product technicians for leading camera manufacturers including Canon, Nikon, and Olympus.

Scott Banks
After earning his degree in Economics from AUM in 1981, Scott enjoyed a successful 36-year career with AT&T before retiring. Scott is married to Paula, the love of his life, and together they have one child. Since 1988, Scott and Paula have made Mobile their home.
At Deep South Focus, Scott is a vibrant and integral part of the team, deeply appreciating both his colleagues and the agents he collaborates with. His love for capturing moments and the beauty of the world adds a creative dimension to his life, enriching both his personal and professional experiences.
Sprite Wood
With over 20 years of experience in graphic design and 5 years in marketing management, Sprite is the creative force behind all marketing output at Deep South Focus Photography. By blending her graphic design skills with strategic marketing expertise, Sprite crafts compelling content that helps our agents and company excel in a competitive market. Additionally, she serves as the final quality check, ensuring that every deliverable meets the highest standards of perfection.
